Steven A. Klenda
Managing Director
Steven A. Klenda obtained his J.D. from Northwestern University Law School, after being a Searle Fellow at the University of Chicago and obtaining his B.A. (with honors) from the Johns Hopkins University. Before joining APS Capital, he represented creditors, debtors, and corporate clients in chapter 11 bankruptcies, workouts, reorganizations, and distressed asset transactions, as well as in commercial litigation and on appeal. These matters have included the reversal of an arbitration award on grounds that it violated public policy and the reversal of a confirmed chapter 11 plan because no facts in an 18+ month record supported the plan's feasibility. Private Healthcare Systems, Inc. v. Torres, 2003 WL 22205623 (Conn. Super. 2003), rev'd 855 A.2d 987 (Conn. App. 2004), vacated 898 A.2d 768 (Conn. 2006); F.H. Partners, L.P. v. Investment Co. of the Southwest, Inc., 341 B.R. 298 (10th Cir. BAP 2006).

Mr. Leinoff has over 20 years of experience in the investment business, 16 of which have been spent analyzing high yield debt. His work history includes research positions at Aeltus Investment Management Company, KDP Investment Advisors, Duff and Phelps High Yield Research, McCarthy Crisanti and Maffei (MCM) and CIGNA. Mr. Leinoff received his BS and Master degrees from M.I.T. in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He received his MBA from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, B.C.
