APS Financial Corporation is a subsidiary of APS Investment Services, Inc., a holding company for all of our financial-related services.

APS Financial Corporation was established in 1981 in Austin, Texas to provide services to a broad base of institutional, corporate and high net-worth clients.

Our extensive capabilities include debt research focusing on high yield and distressed situations, discrete trade execution, investment banking and corporate finance services, asset management and other value added services for clients.

Our other services include portfolio accounting and analytics, investment accounting and performance measurement.

APS Asset Management
APS Asset Management is a registered investment advisor. This entity is separate and apart from the Asset Management division which exists within APS Financial, the broker/dealer.

We provide balanced portfolio management advice to individuals, institutions and qualified retirement plans. We work closely with clients to design an asset allocation strategy to achieve long-term goals.

We provide value-added, low-risk investment strategies and apply a distinctive process to accommodate the needs of fixed income clients. Our fixed-income investment philosophy is a value-oriented, active-duration strategy, designed to deliver superior risk-adjusted returns.

To maximize effectiveness for you as an equity client, our asset management team also works closely with your equity advisor.

APS Capital, Inc.
APS Capital specializes in bankruptcy trade claims and trade distressed bank debt. We also work with other private debt instruments that are also not considered securities.

Our experienced sales and trading staff dedicated to bringing a supply of trade claims to our distressed debt clientele conduct all of our sourcing operations.

Our sourcing operations use proprietary techniques and protocols. In this way, we adeptly uncover motivated sellers. We've also developed proprietary software applications designed to streamline and manage our sourcing operations.

Our reputation in the distressed investment industry is the key to our sourcing operations. A large portion of our business is derived from referrals: from opposing counsel, CFOs and credit managers and former clients. Using a 4-step process we identify, categorize, engage and maintain original creditor contacts.

Trade creditor recoveries depend on many variables. We understand the factors affecting recoveries. We can provide financial as well as legal insight into many bankruptcy situations.
